These are some of the most popular bracelet blank sizes and metals that jewelry artisans use. They are long enough to fit most women's wrist sizes comfortably (6 inches is the most popular length). De-burred ends with a tumbled, polished finish. It's used for hammering, stamping and engraving.  Here are the details:

Production time is 1-3 business days at our workshop.  Orders of 100 or more pieces generally take a couple more days.  Shipped from just outside the small town of Kipling, North Carolina, USA.

SIZES
1/8", 1/4" 1/2" and 5/8" widths.  5", 5 1/2" and 6" lengths. The 6" length is most popular.

USES
Great for making bracelets, such as cuffs and bangles. Good for longer phrases where artisans will typically use two lines of words (see photo). Best size for added textures that really show, such as the ones shown in the additional example photos.

MATERIAL
Copper, brass and aluminum soft metals for making jewelry.  Gauges (thickness) available are 12, 14, 16 and 18 - depending on the material you select from the drop down box.

FINISHING
This is a completely finished blank that's ready for your artisan work. With the exception of the 1/8" wide pieces, the corners are rounded so your finished product will have a nice and comfortable fit.  The 1/8" pieces we leave squared so that they are not too pointy. We tumble the metal for a nice shine. This also gives it some additional flexibility and hardness. This is a high quality product, making it much less likely to crack and snap when you hammer, stamp or engrave.

PACKAGING
These will be sent to you as flat strips so you can do whatever you want with them. Any plastic backing is removed during our treatment process. We package each blank so that they won't scratch during transit.

CRAFTING TOOLS
A good 'ol hammer will do the trick if you want to simply hand hammer a texture design. The next step up would be a brass hammer for a more professional touch. You can also use a milling machine to add special textures like lace and flowers. Add words and other designs with metal stamps or an engraving machine. The metal is easy to bend into a bracelet but most artisans will use a bracelet bender or round metal pipe to get the exact desired bracelet shape.
