How to paint aluminum
Posted by Tomlin & Roberts on
I am really looking forward to seeing the bracelet blanks and using them! I just had a quick question about aluminum- can I paint on it with acrylic paints? Do I need to prime it first? If so, do you know what kind of primer would be best? Thanks so much! Robbin Hi, Robbin. Thank you for the order. To answer your question about painting aluminum, it's similar to painting metal. How to prevent brass jewelry from tarnishing

Rob,You are probably so tired of hearing from me. I wondered if you had any recommendations for preventing tarnish in the brass pieces. I've used Vintaj glaze but am not always pleased with it. Also, is there any type of sealant that you know of that I can apply to the metals to prevent oxidation or is that just normal? And lastly, do you know of any sealant that could be applied to prevent the staining of the skin? I know...
Customer Question on Packaging Orders

We recently received a customer question about packaging items for shipment. We know it's very important that blanks be received without any damage or surface scratches. When you order two or more blanks, we'll typically wrap or tape the pieces together to secure them in a plastic bag. We don't typically poly bag each piece. We've never found that necessary. We typically receive orders for 200, 500 or 1,000 blanks where we tightly bundle the pieces in lots. We hope this helps clarify our packing efforts. Be assured we know the importance of quality packaging and high quality blanks for...
